We are the battleground
As goes Dallas County, so goes Texas.
As goes Texas, so goes the Nation.

With your help we can elect Republicans. It does not matter how much you know about politics or the political system, you can help win the fight in Dallas.

More ideas from Cheryl Plunkett, North Texas Chair for Victory 2012

• Email relatives and friends who live in the swing states and explain why Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan should be elected in November. Keep your messages short, factual, and without emotion. Do not continue to bombard them with emails! We want them to support the ticket, not become angry and agitated from an overload of information.

• Start a list of those who will need a mail-in ballot. After September 7th anyone who will be out of town on election day or is 65 and older may request a mail-in ballot from the following website: http://www.tarrantcounty.com/evote/site/default.asp or the appropriate county.  Help them through the process if this is their first time.

•  Think of those you know from church, neighbors, or relatives who may need a ride to the polls, and plan to take them.  It will be easier on older voters to take them to early voting when the polls are less crowded.

• Encourage your children or grandchildren who may be away at college to request a mail-in ballot (beginning September 7th and received by the elections office in your home county by COB October 30th). OR they can update their address to enable them to vote in their present location. If they try to tell you they wouldn’t know whom to vote for—advise them that they couldn’t go wrong with a straight Republican ticket!!!
