One of the Highlights of the meeting was
a Special Evening with Karen Hughes,
Counselor to President George W. Bush
and Undersecretary of State.
Her speech was interesting and
engaging as she recounted some of the
more human aspects of her time in
Washington.
Ms. Hughes
remained after
her talk to
mingle with
the audience.
Here she is
with members
of the TFRW
Board.
Dallas's former Mayor, Tom Leppert,
was only one of the candidates for U.S.
Senator who spoke at the Candidates'
Forum during the Luncheon on
Saturday.
Candidates for Railroad Commission
also addressed the group.
