Information About Some of our Clubs
- Dallas Downtown Republican Women
Founded in September 1960, DDRWC is the oldest night-time Republican Women's Club for professional women in Dallas County* DDRWC is a six time winner of the NFRW's Diamond award and an eight time winner of the TFRW's John Tower Award*
The Republican party was the first political party to recognize women - at the 1872 Republican National Convention. Other firsts for Republicans - first woman to address a committee; first woman elected as delegate to a national convention; first woman elected to US Congress. The first Republican women's club was founded in Salt Lake City in the 1870's.
- Garland Republican Women
As Republican women, it is our responsibility to be knowledgeable on the issues and know our Republican candidates well. It is, then, our obligation to inform and pass along our knowledge and information to others and promote the Republican causes and candidates, whom we trust and believe in. We focus on providing strength and unity of the Republican Party while at the same time enjoying our membership and forming solid and lifelong friendships within the club.
We would like to extend a special invitation to those visitors who have never attended a monthly Garland Republican Women's meeting. Our club meets the first Thursday of each month at the Women's Activity Building. Coffee and refreshments are served at 6:30, and the meeting begins at 7:00. We would love to see you there.
Thank you for visiting our website. Please visit frequently as we will do our best to keep the site up-to-date of the Garland Republican Women's club events and activities. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly at jennybelle@tx.rr.com or 972-530-5724.
God bless and thank you for your interest and support.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Bell
- Northwood Republican Women
Founded in 1972 by 32 politically interested women, Northwood Republican Women (NRW) has grown into a vibrant club with 175 members active in all aspects of the community and politics. Affiliated with the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) and Texas Federation of Republican Women (TFRW), we have been an award winning club since our inception. The NFRW Diamond Level Award of Excellence has been received as has the TFRW John Goodwin Tower Award. Two Star Awards for increasing membership and 2005’s 1st place Caring for America recognizing our support for the “Greet the Troops” project round out some prestigious honors our club has received.
NRW continues to reach our to the local community by participating in activities such as TRAC (Transitional Resources Activities Center) for children aging out of the Texas State foster care system, donating books to elementary school libraries and awarding a Texas college scholarship to a deserving Dallas-area girl.
We support our military by greeting our troops as they arrive or leave from Dallas/Fort Worth Airport, contributing to the new San Antonio hospital Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, clipping food coupons for overseas military families and knitting warm helmet liners for our soldiers serving in Iraq.
However, NRW’s main focus and goal remains the support and election of Republican candidates and the promotion of Republican Party philosophy.
Our motto: “WE DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!”
- Park Cities Republican Women
We are a dynamic and motivated group of women who are committed to supporting Republican candidates and Republican values. Those values include encouraging limited government, a strong national defense, border control, respect for the law, low taxes, private enterprise and personal responsibility, and discouraging reliance on government. Our club is especially focused this year on bringing the message of these values to a broader audience, and on encouraging those who do not participate in the political process to join the cause, because these Republican values are vital to keeping Dallas, Texas and America on the upward track.
- Richardson Republican Women Wi
We are actively involved in our community and in promoting good government. We won the 2008 Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst contest for most volunteer hours of any Republican women's club our size. Jan and Bruce Woody were awarded the 2009 Chairman's Award for volunteer work for the Dallas County Republican Party. We have won many awards at the State and National levels. We have been helping our community as a club for over 50 years.
- White Rock Republican Women's Club
WE BELIEVE:
That the right of the individual to achieve the best that is within him as long as he respects the rights of others is the source of our Nation's strength.
That government exists to protect the freedom of opportunity in which each individual's creative ability can flourish.
That governmental activity should be limited to those things that people cannot do at all or cannot do so well for themselves.
That the most effective government is government closest to the people.
That those who cannot provide for themselves should be assisted by both government and society but that every effort should be made to help them become self supporting, productive citizens with pride in their independence.
That equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity belong to all regardless of race, creed, age, sex or national origin.
That the preservation of our Nation and the security of our citizens depend upon the Constitution, the laws and the courts, and that respect for them is the responsibility of every individual.
That government is accountable for maintaining sound money and a responsible economy. Individual rights, liberties and properties are continually eroded when citizens are oppressed by excessive taxation, inflation, government waste and over regulation.
That government is responsible for national defense and that only a strong America can remain a free America. That it is absolutely essential to maintain a strong national defense posture in order that we may at all times negotiate from a position of strength, not weakness, in our continuing efforts toward world peace and friendship.
That these concepts are the foundation of our national strength and that the Republican Party, which is committed to their preservation, is the party of today and the Party for the future.

We are individuals who believe that government exists to protect the rights and freedom of the citizens, and to guarantee equal protection under the Constitution; That freedom of opportunity and the right of the individual to make his own basic choices should be protected and promoted, and government activities should be limited to those things which people cannot do or cannot do so well for themselves; That the genius of America stems from our constitutional system of government and our free enterprise enconomy which rewards the effort and creative capacity of our citizens; That equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity belong to all regardless of race, creed, color or sex; That the rights of life and liberty are meaningless if the individual's property is taken from him through excessive taxation, inflation, or government waste; The above concepts have been the foundation of our National strength, and the Republican Party (which is committed to their preservation for posterity) is the true Party of the Future.
